GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The shelter-in-place mandate for Orchard Avenue Elementary School has been lifted and students have been released to their parents after an incident involving a gun occurred nearby.
Police are still searching for the suspect they say threatened a 12th Street Rite Aid employee with a gun. The gun was left at the scene as the suspect fled. Police called a canine unit to the scene to help track the suspect.
