Local father fights Lymphoma, Bookcliff Gardens hosts benefit
Husband and father of three, Cody Riggs, works at Bookcliff Gardens.
He has Lymphoma and is undergoing intense chemotherapy and related medical treatments. He is 27 years old. His co-workers at the Garden are hosting 'Cody Riggs Benefit Day.'
The event is Saturday, June 27, starting at 8 a.m. at Bookcliff Gardens, 755 26 Road. There will be a Car Wash from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., a Bake Sale from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., and a hot dog lunch with chips and a drink for just $5 until 3 p.m.
All proceeds go to help Cody and his family pay medical expenses. Donations can also be mailed to Bank of the West in care of 'Benefit for Cody Riggs & Family.'
