GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Vegetarian Society of Colorado is hosting a vegan potluck dinner Saturday.

The group will also teach people how to grow your own sprouts. They say it's nutritious and tasty, and they say just a handful of seeds can turn into several servings of crunchy sprouts in your kitchen, even in the dead of winter.

The dinner and demo is this Saturday, Feb. 20 at 5 p.m. at 1622 Glenwood Avenue. That's the Global Heart Spiritual Center.
