FRUITA, Colo. (KKCO) - Two 3rd graders aren't just talking about their new club, they're putting it into action.

Maggie Williams and Lizzie Godfrey started FC, “For Charity.” Their charity raises money for children at St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

The girls created posters and stuck them uparound school. They also wrote up a newsletter to go home with all of their schoolmates. The money they're raising goes to help kids with illnesses.

"It's a kid's hospital and there's lots of kids that have diseases, and we're sending money so they can get medicine for the kids," says Lizzie.

The girls have raised $154 so far. They put a water cooler jug in Rimrock Eementary's main office for the donations.
