Join us in the KKCO 11 News kitchen with the authors of "Green Eggs and Let's Get Hammered" making Baby Pecan Tartlets and Banana Cows. Baby Pecan Tartlets
Ingredients
½ C BROWN SUGAR, PACKED
3 T CORN SYRUP
... 2 T BUTTER MELTED
1 EGG
¾ C PECANS, CHOPPED
1 T VANILLA EXTRACT
2 PKG MINI PHYLLO SHELLS (30)
1/3 C CONFECTIONERS SUGAR
PARCHMENT PAPER OR TIN FOIL AND COOKIE SHEET

INSTRUCTIONS:
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES

LINE COOKIE SHEET WITH FOIL OR PARCHMENT PAPER

IN MEDIUM MIXING BOWL COMBINE: BROWN SUGAR,CORN SYRUP,BUTTER, & EGG. MIX WELL.

ADD PECANS AND VANILLA. MIX WELL.

FILL EACH SHELL ½ WAY. PLACE ON BAKING SHEET

BAKE 17-20 MIN OR UNTIL BUBBLY.

LET COOL AND SERVE

Banana Cows
MARTINI GLASS
2 OZ. LIGHT RUM
1 OZ. CREME DE BANANA
... 1 1/2 OZ CREAM
DASH OF GRENADINE

MIX IN SHAKER WITH ICE AND STRAIN INTO GLASS. GARNISH WITH A BANANA AND NUTMEG.
