Chocolate Walk tonight on Main Street

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - You can catch some old fashioned holiday spirit in downtown Grand Junction Friday night during the annual Holiday Chocolate Walk.

For just $10 you get a commemorative mug, filled with hot chocolate, and take part in a historical walking tour put on by the Museum of Western Colorado or Art on the Corner experts for a walking tour of the pieces.

You can still attend the event, which starts Friday night at 5:30 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m.

"I'll be talking about historic downtown Grand Junction. We'll be talking about some of the buildings, some of the people that have made Grand Junction the community that it is, and some of my favorite stories," says historic walking tour leader Zebulon Miracle, of the Museum of Western Colorado.

While registration for the event closed last week, organizers say you can still come out. Just meet at Enstroms at 5:30 and you can take part in either tour.

Downtown businesses will also be open late for shoppers.
