GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) --- Grand Junction City Council voted by a vote of 4-2 Monday night to go forward with plans to renovate and revitalize the North Avenue corridor.
Members of the North Avenue Owner's Association, a citizen-run group, presented to the Council and showed examples of potential upgrades the road could see.
Infrastructure updates were the most talked about item at the meeting, including re-doing sidewalks, bus stop pullouts, and the medians.
The next step is for the city to direct resources to help the creation of the plan and hopefully adopt a new plan for revitalization.
