GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Coffee drinkers were greeted with a special gift Wednesday morning, free coffee.

Early morning java junkies at Einstein Bagels and Traders Coffee & Tea were offered $5 toward the purchase of their favorite Cup of Joe as they walked in.

It was a nice gesture from members of the Grand Junction Area Realtors Association and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.

"We just wanted to provide free coffee to the public today to show that we are still here and we are still doing business and that 2011 is going to be a great year,” says GJARA Chairman Joe Reed.

The do-gooders say they handed out about $100 in free coffee as part of their Random Acts of Kindness program.
