KKCO-At a meeting Wednesday, the Rotary Club of Grand Junction presented four local non-profit and charities with checks totaling nearly $6,000.
The lucky recipients of the funds were The Boy Scouts ($1000), The Food Bank of the Rockies ($2,000), The Girl Scouts ($400), and The Community Food Bank ($2,500). All of the funds came from the Rotary Club’s “Robin Hood” program.
Groups are chosen twice a year to receive the grant and have to go through an application process. The grant money will be given again in the spring.
If you are interested in applying for the grant please contact the Grand Junction Rotary for more information.
