Road conditions improving, alert cancelled
The Grand Junction Police Department cancelled an accident alert just before noon on Monday. Roadways were very slick in the early morning hours prompting the alert, which means you should only call 911 if you are involved in an injury crash or if you suspect alcohol is involved in the crash.
