Police looking for suspect after shots fired in Grand Junction neighborhood

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Police are looking for the suspect of an alleged shooting in a downtown neighborhood in Grand Junction on Saturday night.

The Grand Junction Police Department responded to reports of shots fired near 10th and Grand Avenue around 6PM on Saturday. When officers arrived on scene, they found evidence that a shooting had occurred.

Police on scene tell us that shell casings were found on the ground.

GJPD says nobody was injured in the incident, and it is under investigation.

Police are looking for the suspect. They believe he or she is driving a dark colored SUV with cargo doors in the rear.
