Report of shots fired in downtown Grand Junction under investigation

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- The investigation continued Wednesday morning after police got a report of shots fired in a downtown Grand Junction neighborhood.

It happened just after 8 p.m. Tuesday night in the 1000 block of Colorado Avenue. The Grand Junction Police Department said it started as verbal disturbance and apparently escalated.

Officers detained some of the people coming out of the building.

So far, no one has been arrested or charged, according to police.
