GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Two Rivers Convention Center was filled with superheroes and villains alike for the third annual Comic Con.
This was the first year it was at Two Rivers in downtown Grand Junction. They had more than 3,000 people last year and they expected double that number this year.
There were close to 30 vendors, a costume contest a chance to get some comic books and meet some artists.
And people all agreed that it was all about the costumes today.
"It's a fun thing for everyone to get together and dress up as their favorite characters and not be judged and have a safe place."
"You get to see all the costumes."
"Because I like seeing all the costumes."
Organizers say they try to make sure Comic Con captures the culture of the Grand Valley. And it's for all walks of life, not just a kid’s thing.
