GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Two people are in jail after two separate drug busts on Interstate 70.

The two seizures included 16 pounds of meth and 46 pounds of marijuana.

Colorado State Patrol said 23-year-old Roman Qunitero Efrain was pulled over Thursday for following too closely.

Troopers said he couldn't provide a United States ID but instead provided a Sinaloa, Mexico driver's license and an address out of Aurora, Colorado. He claimed to be driving from California to Denver.

When they pulled him over, they said they found multiple sealed packages of drugs and a liquid substance that has yet to be identified. He faces several drugs charges we are working to get a photo of him.

In a separate incident, CSP said they pulled over 44-year-old Anatas Vachov of Albania on I-70 near Loma. Vachov reportedly said he was headed to California from Illinois. There were several sealed bags containing pot in the car, according to CSP.
