Chickens killed in Clifton coop fire

CLIFTON, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- An investigation is underway to figure out what started a fire that destroyed a local chicken coop.

It happened around 10 p.m. Monday night in the area of 33 and F 5/8 roads in Clifton.

The owner said all of the chickens were killed in the fire.

The Clifton Fire District is investigating what started the fire.

No one else was hurt.
