GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- The Bull Basin fire, which is almost 4 miles East of Mesa is still around 15 acres.
The fire started yesterday and is believed to have been started by lightning. The Bureau of Land Management said there are no evacuations or structures threatened at this time, but there are resources standing by around structures that are near the fire.
"Fire managers are expecting it to grow a little bit as temperatures grow throughout the day and humidity decreases,” said Emily Davis, BLM.
The BLM said additional firefighters are being sent to that fire today as they work to contain it, including a type three helicopter.
