GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- The Mesa County Coroner has identified a 47-year-old Grand Junction man who died in a car vs bicycle accident Monday.
Brian Varrieur was pronounced dead at the scene. He was riding a bike and was hit by a car near the intersection of North Avenue and 1st Street, according to the coroner. Varrieur was not wearing a helmet.
His cause of death was blunt force head injuries and the manner of death was accident, according to the coroner.
