MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Mesa County Valley School District 51 has set up a new extension to their website that will allow the community to track how they spend funds from the passage of ballot measure 3A and 3B in November of 2017.
Representatives say 2018 will be a busy year with updates, and projects going on across the district.
They want the community to follow along those expenses that are set to include a new Orchard Mesa Middle School, new gyms at Dual Immersion Academy and Palisade high school, five more school days added on to the scholastic year and many tech, security and maintenance upgrades.
They say transparency during the election cycle helped them get the bond measure and mill levy passed and want to continue the commitment as millions of dollars of funds are spent.
