GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- If you haven't gotten a flu shot yet, mesa county health experts are warning residents to get it soon, or risk getting sick.
Health department officials said peak flu season has arrived.
They held adult flu shot clinics the last few weeks, and during those two days they vaccinated nearly 300 people. A number they say is even with previous years.
In the last three years, the health department has given out about 10,000 flu shots.
Though, the clinics are over, the health department is still offering flu shots to adults and children.
