GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Co-working spaces have been popping up around the Western Slope over the last few years.

Fruita just opened up F Works in April. They said they already have a waiting list for desks. In Grand Junction, Factory celebrated Internation Co-working day on Thursday by giving members a free day of co-working.

"I like co-working because of the collaborative nature of it,” said Bryan Wachs, a member at Factory. “There's a lot of people here who are in the same industry or entrepreneurs, and we're constantly cross-pollinating ideas and best practices and stuff like that."

F Works said with the high-speed internet now in the valley, co-working spaces can be successful.
