Palisade High School presents "Footloose"

PALISADE, Colo.-- The Palisade High School Performing Arts Department presents Footloose the Musical, a stage adaptation of the classic 1984 movie this weekend.

Footloose tells the story of newcomer, Ren McCormack, who has just moved from Chicago, and is in shock when he discovers the small Midwestern town he now calls home has made dancing illegal.

Directed and choreographed by Palisade’s Director of Choral Music Activities, Matthew J. Doty, and Director of Theatre Arts, Sarah VanBenschoten, this musical stars some of Palisade High School’s brightest actors and actresses.

You can catch the PHS version of Footloose January 14 -16 at 7:00 p.m. in Kamas Auditorium at Palisade High School. Tickets are priced at $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $8 for students. For more information call Palisade High School at 970-254-4800.
