High School Baseball: Palisade's season ends at the hands of Evergreen

After having an amazing regular season Palisade baseball was hosting Evergreen in the first round of the Class 4A State tournament.

The bulldogs started the tall righty on the mound in Max Noland and he was good in this one.

He helped himself out in the bottom of the first with a 2 RBI single that was fisted over the shortstop to make it 2-0 Palisade.

Evergreen got a run back on a bases loaded walk in the top of the second to trim the lead.

On the mound for the Cougar’s was Ben Muscatello and he allowed 2 runs in 5 innings of work.

Evergreen added two runs in the 6th and 7th to eventually complete the upset 3-2 over Palisade in the regional.
