Tia Wright and Megan King signed national letters of intent to run track at the next level.
Wright will be attending Northern Colorado.
"The longest sport I ever did play was volleyball,” Wright says. “So I was like maybe I’ll play volleyball. Then they never did any recruiting. So I was like ‘I guess I’m not able to do the whole college sports thing.’ UNC reached out and I was like’ this is awesome.’ This is kind of like a dream come true type thing."
King will be heading to CMU.
"It'll definitely help me for track to be practicing on the same track I’ve been practicing on for four years already,” King says. “I think it'll be an advantage for sure."
