GJ Rockies: Rockies take game one over Voyagers

After losing last night the Grand Junction Rockies were trying to get back to their winning ways tonight taking on Great Falls in a four game series.

On the mound Will Gaddis gave the Rockies the start they were looking for pitching 5 innings allowing one run on 6 hits.

Shael Mendoza was star studded at the plate going 4-5 and finished a homerun short of the cycle. That improved his already impressive season batting average to .426.

The Rockies will be in action for game two of the series tomorrow with first pitch at 1:00 P.M
