The Grand Junction Rockies split their doubleheader with the Missoula Osprey taking game two, 4-2, before falling 11-10 in game one.

Justin Valdespina went 6.0 innings giving up just one run on four hits in the winning effort.
The game was only seven innings due to the doubleheader.
As for game one the Rockies had a nine-run lead after the second before giving up eight unanswered runs from the third through fifth innings.
With Grand Junction ahead 10-8 with two outs in the ninth reliever Jefry Valdez gave up a three-run home run to Brandon Leyton thus surrendering the Rockies' lead.
Grand Junction now hits the road for seven straight games starting Friday in Helena against the Brewers.
