It was a wild night of baseball Sunday night at Suplizio Field. A total of 26 runs were scored, but the Grand Junction Rockies eventually fell to the Ogden Raptors 14-12 in the series opener.
In the game the Rockies had 12 runs on 18 hits, but were not able to overcome the Raptors scoring 8 runs between the 5th and 7th innings.
Michael Agis took the loss on the mound for the Rockies his second on the year.
Carlos Rincon had the big bat for Ogden going 4-5 with 2 HR and 6 RBI's at the dish.
The Rockies now fall 4 and half games out of a playoff spot in the Pioneer League South division.
Game two of the series on Monday is set for 1:00 P.M MT.
