The Grand Junction Rockies scored seven runs in the final three innings combined to earn the comeback victory over Ogden, 8-7.
Casey Golden's two-run double in the sixth and three-run homer in the seventh led the Rockies' comeback. It was Golden's 20th of the year,
Ramon Marcelino and Chad Spanberger also had a home run each. It was Marcelino's 15th and Spanberger's 18th.
The Rockies also shut out the Raptors in the final three innings of the ball game.
The Rockies remain 2.5 games behind the Orem Owlz for a playoff spot with four games to go.
The team also honored their host families with food and drinks in Suplizio Field's hospitality suite.
"I would encourage anyone if they have a spare bedroom for a young baseball player to come to and stay with them during the season," host Carol Wilson says. "It's a great experience. I'm going to do it again next year."
The team will now travel to Orem for two games and Ogden for two games to finish the season.
Grand Junction's game against the Owlz is scheduled for Wednesday at 6:30 P.M.
