Colorado Mesa football took care of business last week against Fort Lewis. The task gets tougher for the Mavs as they hit the road to take on the 18th ranked CSU-Pueblo Thunderwolves.

Last year when the Mavs hosted CSU-Pueblo it was a thriller with CMU coming out on top 20-19. David Tann scored the go ahead touchdown with 3 minutes left to go in the game.

This year’s game was named the division two football game of the week, and is set to air on ESPN 3 tomorrow afternoon, and both sides have respect for one another’s program.

“They are solid very sound football team in every aspect. Offense, defense, and special teams, but I believe we are as well and I think our guys are very excited and ready for this kind of a challenge, “said head coach Russ Martin.
