CMU Women's Soccer: Don't forget about CCU

The CMU Women's Soccer team welcome in Colorado Christian University on Friday.

The Cougars are winless in league.

On Sunday the Lady Mavs face second-place Colorado School of Mines, who is undefeated in RMAC play this season.

Even with Mines on the weekend bill, all the focus is on CCU.

"Every game is important in the RMAC and we tell all of the girls you can't look over anyone," head coach Jason Clare says. "That's when you'll get undone. That can be the crux of a season so to speak. We were disappointed the first game of the season against Westminster. Their only win is against us and that's disappointing. I think we fed off that. We go against Christian. Hopefully we get the win. And build on that for Mines on Sunday."

Friday's game against CCU begins at 4 P.M. on Friday while the match against Colorado Mines has a 1 P.M. start time.

Both games are at Walker Field.
