Sophomore Samantha Ritter was named RMAC Setter of the Week for the second time this season.
"I know that there's some really great setters in the RMAC and I think it's a great way to show how well rounded we are as a setting award," Ritter says. "It's obviously just not me. It's from the whole team whether it's the pass or the kill for the assist. But it's a really great feeling."
She recorded 94 assists, 36 digs and two double-doubles in the Mavs road wins against CSU Pueblo and New Mexico Highlands last weekend.
Ritter matched a career-high six kills in the game against the ThunderWolves.
The sophomore also ranks fifth in the RMAC in assists per set with 10.66 and leads the team with eight double-doubles on the year.
