CMU Women's Basketball: Mavs prepared for ugly game

CMU women's basketball hosts MSU Denver on Saturday.

It's a battle between two of the four teams that are in a tie for fourth place in the RMAC,

Both teams have 4-2 conference records.

It's the first time the Mavs return to the court since December 16. The Road Runners last game was December 17th.

Metro State shoots 38 percent from the floor and only 25 percent from three-point range.

"I feel like we got to keep them off the free throw line," said head coach Taylor Wagner. "We can't let them get easy buckets in the lane where they're shooting high percentage. Historically these games after break can get a little sloppy. If you're going to shoot lay ups that's a lot better than jacking up a bunch of threes."

Tip off is set for 5:30 P.M. on Saturday from Brownson Arena
