Coming off a tough loss to Legend on Friday night, the Grand Junction Tigers suffered another heart breaker on Saturday falling to Ponderosa 57-51 in overtime.
With the loss the Tigers fall to now 3-9 on the season.
The girls team was also in action on Saturday hosting the No.2 ranked team in 5A Regis Jesuit. The Raiders showed why they are ranked allowing the Tigers to score only one field goal in the first half alone. Regis Jesuit picked up the 62-16 win as Junction falls to 3-8 on the year.
The girls and boys teams will be off until Tuesday when they take on Palisade.
