CMU Women's Basketball: Lady Mavs working on late game execution

CMU women's basketball is 5-4 in conference play. They could easily be 9-0.

Their most recent loss was a seven point defeat in double overtime to Regis on Saturday.

Each of the team's four RMAC losses this season have been by seven points or less.

"I think the games that we've won we just had that extra oomph, that extra energy that we've needed from our team, from everybody," junior Karina Brandon. "It's just been there. It's been right."

The Lady Mavs were outscored in the fourth quarter or overtime in three of those four losses.

"It's come down to the last couple minutes in each game and we've just got to be able to make one more play," head coach Taylor Wagner says.

CMU will take on Colorado Mines at 5:30 P.M. on Friday at Brownson Arena.
