Colorado Mesa softball has started the season with a bang, winning their first 10 games. The Mavs will now turn their focus to RMAC play.
CMU spent the first two weeks of the season on the road, but will now return to the Grand Valley. They were supposed to host Chadron State on Saturday and Sunday, but the weather has pushed it back to Sunday and Monday.
Pushing the schedule back just a day provides the Mavs with a major test with their pitching staff this early in the season, but they don't think it will be a problem.
"We had the tournament in Albuquerque and turned around three day later and head to St. George. They have adjusted and are ready to go," said head coach Ben Garcia.
