Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) --- Most people enjoy Country Jam for the music, but many local businesses embrace the music festival for an entirely different reason.
With the increase of music lovers on the Western Slope this weekend, business owners say that they're busier than ever and with the economy still recovering, they're thrilled to see the added revenue.
"Most of the people that are coming in are in big groups so rather than a normal weekend when one or two people are coming in together this is five, ten people coming in together," says Fisher's Discount Liquor Barn owner, Brandi Pollock.
Across the Grand Valley, hotels are booked, restaurants are jammed and profits are up.
But even with the increase in sales, Pollock and other local business owners have one major thing in mind...
"We just look forward to seeing everybody coming in and having a good time and being responsible while they are having a good time."
