Palisade hangs on to edge Delta in volleyball

PALISADE, Colo. (KKCO) -- The Panthers jumped out to a 1-0 lead, but the Bulldogs battled back, winning 3-2 in a 4A Western Slope League volleyball match at Palisade High School on Tuesday night.

Delta (5-5, 3-2) won the first game 25-19 and the fourth game 25-22. Palisade (7-5, 4-1) won the second game 25-16, the third game 25-17, and the fifth game 15-9.

Palisade plays at Glenwood Springs on Thursday. Delta hosts Glenwood Springs on Saturday.
