DELTA, Colo - The Delta Panthers finished the 2008 season by defeating the Battle Mountain Huskies at home on Friday.
Battle Mountain scored the first 14 points with two touchdown runs by quarterback Parke Robbins.
Delta answered with two scores by Chad Cromwell. The first was an eight-yard touchdown reception, followed by a 96-yard run on an end-around.
The Panthers went on to win 52-21 and finish the season 4-5 (2-5 conf.).
