GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Delta Panthers didn't have a shutout through the first nine weeks of the regular season.

Now they have two in the past two weeks, including a 21-0 win over The Classical Academy in the first round of the Class 3A postseason last weekend.

Panthers wide receiver and defensive back, Chris Black says this is the best the defense has played this year.

And Delta will need that trend to continue because Pueblo East, who visits the Panthers on Saturday, is averaging 51.5 points per contest over the past four weeks.
