GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- A win is a win, but this one was a little tougher to get than it should have been. The Delta Panthers (5-3) defeated the Battle Mountain Huskies (1-7) 25-19 in overtime on Friday.
With a slick field and wet conditions, the Panthers running game wasn't as potent as in past games. The ball went back-and-fourth on turnovers in the second and third quarter.
The Panthers improve to 3-2 in league play, and they will take on Glenwood Springs at home next Friday.
