GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Delta Panthers took momentum into the half against the first-place Glenwood Springs Demons, but they could not keep up in the second half to lose 24-7.
With the Demons leading 10-0 in the second quarter, Delta's Mitchell Whiteside cut the deficit to 10-7 with a one yard quarterback sneak. The Panthers then intercepted a pass from Glenwood to end the half, but the Demons scored 14 unanswered points in the second half to take control.
