GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Delta Panthers' two-game winning streak came to an end on Friday with a 41-7 loss to No. 6 Rifle.
The Panthers (4-3, 2-2) fell into a deep hole in the first half as the Bears scored 27 unanswered points. Delta managed to score one touchdown in the second half and they slowed the Rifle attack, but it was too little too late for Delta.
The road doesn't get any easier from here as Delta will travel to Battle Mountain on Oct. 21 for their next game.
