GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Delta Panthers will rely on senior experience and speed to help lead them back to the playoffs in 2011, but no senior has a story like that of Austin Hines.
Hines has jumped back and fourth from the Western Slope to South Africa since he was a boy. He returned to Delta last year and tried out for the Panther's football team as a kicker. He was then moved to linebacker, and he is getting ready to finish his senior season.
After football is complete, Hines will move back to South Africa to help his parents with their missionary work and resume his job as a translator.
