MACK, Colo. (KKCO) And while many of the artists will be taking off to their next tour locations, a crew will be working for days to clean up the Country Jam grounds. Country Jam says it will start cleaning at 6am Monday morning. That includes the stage, booths, tents and chairs. And of course, there will be plenty of trash to pick up after thousands of fans have walked through. But you'd be surprised to see how fast crews can work to cleanup the site.
"It takes us typically three to four days to get everything broken down, stored away, packed away and then we get the water back on the ground," says Julie Shafer, Country Jam marketing director.
The crews want to make sure enough water can get on the ground before Rock Jam starts. The two day concert kicks off at the end of August.
