NEAR COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) The Waldo Canyon Fire is burning in the mountains just west of Colorado Springs.
No structure damage has been reported, but officials say it's coming "uncomfortably close" to residential areas. They've called for evacuations in some neighborhoods. Changing winds have made it hard for firefighters to predict where the blaze will go next. About 600 acres have burned so far.
