"Wine and Whiskers" concert benefits Roice-Hurst

PALISADE, Colo. (KKCO) The concert benefits the Roice-Hurst Humane Society. "Acoustic America" and "Stray Grass" performed for the crowd of wine and animal lovers. The event is part of the popular "hear it through the grapevine" summer concert series. Animal paintings and t-shirts were also available for sale. Event organizers say it's always a fun event for a great cause.

"We just gather animal lovers and have a great time. It's a great fundraiser for Roice-Hurst," says Julie Butherus, Roice-Hurst Humane Society president.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Roice-Hurst Humane Society.
Last year the event raised close to $5,000.
