D51 Foundation

The Foundation was created in 2010 to support our local public schools by providing private support for key education initiatives. As a 501(c)3 organization, the Foundation provides an opportunity to make strategic investments, and is actively engaging parents, students, and the community to rally behind Mesa County Valley School District 51. With generosity of time and resources, the D51 Foundation can help every child reach their potential.

Our Mission: To raise funds for academic growth and achievement and promote outreach to benefit kids and community.

The volunteer Board of Directors is made up of community leaders, business owners, parents, elected Board of Education members and district staff. The strength and diversity of this board leads to amazing partnerships and major successes.
Become a D51F Ambassador
Join other parents and community leaders to spread the word about the Foundation. The role of Ambassador is so important to our work. Ambassador share brochures, represent the D51F at Back to School Nights and PTA or SAC meetings, work on committees, and generally help people understand more about our programs and fundraising efforts. We meet for one hour just twice a year, in January and in July. Our NEXT MEETING will be JANUARY 8TH, AT 6:30pm IN THE CMU MOSS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER ROOM 005. Parking available in the University Center Parking Garage. Email Jenn at jennifer.hensel@d51schools.org to join!
