Hilltop has brought their mission statement to life with a depth and breadth of community based services that literally bridge the life span from prenatal care to assisted living for the elderly. Acknowledging and reinforcing the inherent dignity and worth of every individual, at every phase of the life-cycle, is the basic tenant of each of Hilltop's programs and collaborative projects. Understanding that poverty, violence, mental or physical limitations, aging and other life circumstances place individuals and families in situations of "risk" provides the impetus to act. Knowing that risk can be both transient and permanent in people's lives, the programs and services that branch from Hilltop's core exemplify leadership in community initiatives related to prevention, enhanced quality of life, education, participation, and self-sufficiency. Hilltop promotes self-sufficiency through direct services to more than 20,000 individuals each year in Mesa, Delta, Montrose and Ouray counties.
In order to serve over 20,000 people every year, we need a network of Partners who share our values & commitments. It is our belief that by partnering we can leverage our resources more efficiently and effectively. We understand that in order to be a true partner we need to bring not only enthusiasm and commitment to the table but also resources. It is with the utmost gratitude that we thank all of the individuals, businesses, and foundations who generously partner with us.
