More than 1,000 Grand Valley high school students walking this week

MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO) - This week more 1,376 Grand Valley high school students will get their diplomas.

Monday morning, 337 Central High School students graduated. Friends and family of the seniors packed Stocker Stadium for the graduation ceremony.

Ceremonies continue Monday night with 209 Palisade High School seniors graduating. The event will be held at Stocker Stadium at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday morning, 325 high school students from Grand Junction High School will get their diplomas. The ceremony is also at Stocker Stadium at 8:30 a.m.

Tuesday night at 7 p.m., 415 students from Fruita Monument High School will graduate. The ceremony will also be held at Stocker.

R-5 will graduate around 90 students on Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. at Brownson Arena on the Mesa State College campus.

    Fruit high rocks. more kids graduated from fruita than the other 4 schools in the valley. Go FMHS
