GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- A week after the Fruita boys suffered their first loss in league in almost three years, they rebounded for a win over the Cortez Panthers.

Senior guard for FMHS, Alex Padgett, dropped 10-points in the first quarter alone to lead the Wildcats to a 72-43 victory.

The Fruita girls were also rebounding from a loss to Grand Junction last Friday. Cortez proved to be the inferior team in this one, 56-21 was the final.
