GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The 10th-ranked Fruita Monument wrestling team held their own against Grand Valley-rival Central on Wednesday night.
Isaac Rodriguez (145 lbs.) and Jacob Seely (170 lbs.), both of whom are ranked in the state's top-four in their respective weight classes, defeated their Warrior counterparts.
No. 3 Rodriguez looked masterful by taking down Jacob Hayden again and again on his way to a 19-3 technical win.
No. 2 Seely faced a tighter match-up against Caleb Hendricks, but won by a 7-4 decision.
